Compassionate and personalised ceremonies that honour a life, celebrate treasured memories and create a meaningful farewell.
As a celebrant, I am here to offer guidance, reassurance and support throughout the process, helping to ease some of that pressure during a difficult time.
A memorial ceremony offers the opportunity to come together, remember a loved one and celebrate their life in a way that feels right for you and your family. Unlike a funeral service, a memorial can take place weeks, months or even years after a private funeral or cremation, allowing you the time and space to gather, reflect and remember without the time pressures of the day itself.
One of the greatest benefits of a memorial ceremony is its flexibility. You can choose a location that held special meaning for your loved one, whether that's a family garden, a favourite beach or woodland, a local hall, hotel or another place that feels significant. Every ceremony is thoughtfully created around the life being remembered and can include music, readings, poetry, personal tributes, hymns and symbolic moments.
Many families choose to hold a memorial following a direct cremation, creating an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories and celebrate a life in a way that feels personal and meaningful. Some also choose to include the interment or scattering of ashes as part of the ceremony, while others prefer to do this separately.
If you're considering a direct cremation, I recommend speaking with a local funeral director, who can guide you through the practical arrangements and the options available to you.
If you're considering a memorial ceremony, I'd be honoured to listen to your wishes and help you create a fitting tribute that celebrates a life, honours precious memories and brings people together.
A dedicated planning meeting, to gently gather stories, memories and wishes for the ceremony.
A bespoke ceremony script, carefully written to honour and reflect the life of your loved one.
Liaison with funeral directors and venues, ensuring everything is thoughtfully planned and coordinated.
Continuous support via email, phone, and WhatsApp throughout your planning journey.
Professional delivery of the ceremony with a calm, compassionate and respectful presence.
An optional presentation copy of the ceremony as a lasting keepsake.
Finding the right celebrant is about more than choosing a price; it's about finding someone who feels like the right fit.
That's why I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation via Teams or Zoom, giving us the opportunity to get to know one another, chat through your ideas and help you decide whether I'm the right celebrant for you.
